In honor of International Woman’s Day, I’d like to highlight my late grandmother, Susana Ortiz de Echevarria!♥️
✨ She was born in Tepic, Nayarit, Mexico
✨ She was widowed at the age of 37 with 4 kids under the age of 5!😩 (One set of identical twins, my mom being of them!)
✨ She up and moved her kids to Guadalajara, Jalisco to give them a better life.
✨ She got into property management and created wealth through investing in real estate.
✨ She was able to provide everything for her kids including a private school education.....even parochial school in the US.
✨ She moved to Europe for 6 months with her daughters in order to travel and expose them to other cultures.
✨ She did it all on her own. She never remarried nor had another relationship. My grandfather had been the love of her life.
✨ She passed away on her 69th birthday of Hepatitis C surrounded by our entire family. That very same day my aunt found out she was pregnant. My cousin’s name is Susana in honor of my “Tita”💖
✨My Tita is the epitome of a strong badass woman!!💪🏼
A woman ahead of her time!🔥
I salute her and all the other strong badass women out there!!!!👊🏼💥♥️
